Solving the Jigsaw is a school-based project that seeks to change the 'culture of violence' and build a 'culture of well being'.  The program is run by the Emergency Accommodation and Support Enterprise Inc (EASE), a domestic violence agency based in Bendigo.

The Solving the Jigsaw best practice project forms long term partnerships with schools to provide early intervention and prevention programs to strengthen connectedness, belonging and resilience through:

  • School Based Classroom Programs - long term group programs delivered by trained facilitators in a classroom setting.
     
  • Professional Development - nationally accredited training modules and facilitator training courses for people who work with children and including parents, eduction and welfare professionals.

The project supports and resources schools to play an important role in the care and nurture of children and young people.

The best practice multi-award winning Solving the Jigsaw program has eight years experience working in partnership with over 60 schools in Victoria.
